Quality Assurance
Statewide Quality Services is committed to meeting the expectations of our customers in line with their stated requirements by ensuring that our staff, products, systems and services are implemented in line with our Quality Assurance Management System. We achieve this through a number of defined and committed activities, being:
- Complying with all statutory obligations stated within AS/NZS ISO 9001: 2001 and additional requirements within the Quality Management System;
- Monitoring, maintaining, reviewing and subsequently improving the Statewide Quality Management System in line with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001: 2001;
- Proving the required resources to maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System;
- Recruit employees that have the skills, qualifications, experience and support to do the job at hand;
- Train and develop employees skills to continually improve their performance and awareness of their jobs and the Statewide Quality Management System;
- Reviewing and communicating staff performance and improving employee outcomes;
- Continually review and action all non-conformance reports in line with the quality system and with the objective of eliminating all performance breaches; and
- Where specialized service providers are utilised, measure and report on their performance and compliance with all industrial, operational and quality required outcomes.

Health & Safety
Statewide Quality Services recognizes and accepts it’s obligation to take all action where practicable to ensure the health and safety of all persons using the premises in line with the NSW OH&S 2000 ACT and 2001 Regulations. All persons using the premises or grounds have a duty of care and legal obligation to ensure that nothing is carried out to make ineffective, any company actions in regards to health and safety to all. Implementing duty of care requires everyone using the premises, to be aware of potential hazards and take steps to prevent accidents, injuries and illness. All Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Employees, Members, Guests, Visitors, Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to observe and work within the guidelines of this policy. Commitment, co-operation and involvement by everyone is required with the implementation of this policy. Failure to follow this policy may lead to employment, or contract termination or citation to the Board of Directors. All statutory or regulative fines imposed on individuals will remain their sole responsibility.
Environmental Management
Statewide strives to be an environmentally conscious organization that focuses on all aspects of our environment to which we depend on for our future and the future of our children, with a key objective of not damage our fragile earth but putting in processes that will, over time, restore or improve the environmental balance.
To achieve this we will develop and implement strategies that will prevent pollution by way of reduction in chemical usage, utilize environmental friendly products and services and minimize travel and supply to essential services only.
Employee Relations
Industrial Relations Policy
Statewide is committed to managing all industrial relations matters with professionalism and in compliance with the industrials laws of the land. We endeavor to resolve all matters expeditiously and in the best interests of the company and the employees and keep up to date with all obligations as set down by the State and Federal legislative system. We do this by:
- Paying wages in accordance with the relevant industry awards or registered EBA;
- Register all employees with the relevant workers compensation authority;
- Comply with Superannuation obligations, as stated within the relevant legislation;
- Comply with the current and any future workplace relations act, with regard to freedom of association and dispute resolution;
- Create a work environment that is conducive to “worlds Best Practice” for employee relations; and
- Establish and maintain an employee participation program that encourages employees to see the company as an “Employer of Choice”.
There will be an industrial relations committee, which has a focus on industrial relations matters including, disputes, training, and employee participation programs. The industrial relations committee will meet on a monthly basis and report their findings to the Board.
All of the processes and programs will be in line with ISO 7001 or equivalent process, which can be audited by an external or independent body.
